MACD TECHNICIAN J
ob Duties Include but not limited to:
- Configuration changes to customer equipment
- Adds and removes devices from monitoring
- Interacts with Engineering to complete change request
- Complete new site turn-ups
- Test/Verify returned equipment functions
Ideal Candidates for this fast-paced environment must have
:
- High attention to detail especially regarding change control
- Knowledge in one or more - Cisco, Juniper, Riverbed, CUCM and FortiGate
- Ability to follow specific change request procedures dictated by customer requirements
- Communicate effectively with the customers regarding MACDs
- Understanding of GLS backend monitoring systems (Nagios, data collectors, etc.)
- Availability to work a varying schedule as needed
- Work quickly and efficiently to meet customer deliverables
