Network and Systems Engineer

Our cloud-based futures trading platform is available via desktop, mobile, and web applications, enabling customers to trade from any location.We are seeking a skilled and experienced Network and Systems Engineer to support and evolve our cloud and on-premises infrastructure. Your work will have a profound impact on our core high-throughput, low-latency, 24x7 trading application, directly influencing our business’s bottom line smoothly.
In this role, you will:
- Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, SDWAN, etc.).
- Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, and QoS).
- Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including IP addressing, routing, and switches.
- Manage cloud environments and systems (GCP and Azure).
- Manage AD, DNS, DHCP, KMS, NFS, DFS, SMTP, and clustering.
- Oversee the configuration, installation, and maintenance of operating systems and enterprise applications including multiple SaaS applications.
- Implement and manage security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.
- Monitor network and systems for security vulnerabilities and maintain patch management program.
- Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
- Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, system settings, and infrastructure inventories.
- Ensure the integrity and availability of data through regular backups and disaster recovery plans.
- Be part of an On-call rotation for systems monitoring and incident management.
- Assist in the development of IT support processes and provide level 3 support to IT support staff.
Key Job Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience working in Network or Systems Administration, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology or related field of study.
- A working knowledge of IT operating systems, particularly Windows, MacOS, and Linux.
- Deep understanding of Active Directory, and associated services (AD, GPO, DNS, VPN).
- Solid technical skills and experience with a variety of network protocols, software and hardware involved in LAN, WLAN, and SDWAN operations.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical and diagnostic skills, along with good communication abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and customer-service orientation, as well as the ability to work on a team.
