Full-timeDescription We are looking for a motivated Social Media Specialist to join our team! In this role you will assist in developing and implementing our social media strategy, specifically with community content management and distribution on various social media platforms. Our next social media guru is someone who adapts to changes quickly, in a highly production-based environment, and who loves to make an impact via online consumer engagement!

We are hiring  (100% remote) in the following states: AL, AK, AZ, CT, FL, GA, IL, MI, MN, MO, NC, NE, NJ, OH, OR, PA, SC, SD, TX and VA.

OBJECTIVES


  • Brand Awareness: Increase brand visibility and awareness by developing and implementing effective social media strategies.
  • Consumer Engagement: Grow and engage the social media following by creating compelling content and fostering meaningful interactions.
  • Website Traffic: Drive website traffic and generate engagement.
  • Reputation Management: Monitor and manage online reputation by promptly addressing customer feedback and resolving issues.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze data and metrics to measure the success of social media activities and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Client Reports: Assist in creating monthly progress reports for clients regarding their purchased social media products.
  • Proactive Learning: Stay updated on the latest trends and changes in social media algorithms and platforms to maintain a competitive edge

COMPETENCIES


  • Social Media: Strong proficiency in creating and implementing content across social media platforms.(e.g. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.) Including developing creative copy for consumer engagement. 
  • Online Reputation: Communicate with followers and monitor customer reviews, with an exceptional level of enthusiasm, influence and accountability.
  • Campaign Analytics: Ability to effectively analyze campaigns and translate anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising social media, content marketing, SEO, and social advertising campaigns
  • Researching Skills: Ability to research audience preferences and identify social networks optimal for building brand reputation to social media tools and promotion strategies.
  • Attention to Detail: Must possess a strong attention to detail and be able to consistently produce work that is thorough, accurate, and free from errors.
  • Verbal and Written Communication: Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally in all verbal and written communications, including superior attention to spelling and grammar. 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE


  • AS or BS from an accredited university/college preferred
  • 1+ years of hands-on experience in content management (from education, professional or personal experience)
  • 1+ years of proven experience developing creative content for engagement on social media platforms

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS


  • Prolonged periods of time sitting at a desk or computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
