Paradigm Press has an immediate opening for an Office Administrator/Event Coordinator for our growing operation in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Your responsibilities are critical in maintaining our great environment and in this role, you will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks. Below you will see some of the key responsibilities we expect our Office Administrator/Event Coordinator to manage.
Responsibilities:
- Managing distribution of office key fobs
- Checking, stocktaking of office supplies – i.e.: copy paper, pens, pads, notes, etc.
- Checking, stocktaking of kitchen – i.e.: snacks, refrigerator beverages, coffee/teas
- Keeping conference/meeting rooms tidy and well supplied on a continuous basis (especially after being used)
- Coordinate office gatherings such as “Work from Work Wednesdays” “Happy Hour” and other such festivities
- Book travel/hotels for out-of-town employees
- Assist Director of Events with admin needs for meetings, conferences, and special events
- Other duties/projects as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Office Equipment
- Microsoft Word
- Standard Work Routines
- Must be able to carry through on assignments, specific tasks and activities with guidance but not direct and micro supervision
- Ability to manage time and priorities effectively
- Must be flexible, reliable and dependable
- Must be personable and have the skills and confidence to speak with all staff in all levels
- Must have a pleasant demeanor and a “pitch-in” attitude
