Summary
:
This position assists in the daily running of the accounting department by invoicing each department's customers, depositing and posting check payments, answering incoming customer calls regarding their accounts, monitoring AR accounts over 90 days past due. Confidentiality must be maintained at all times.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collect payments via phone and answer customer questions concerning their accounts.
- Process bank deposits via remote deposit banking system daily.
- Process MSAs (Master Service Agreement) as needed.
- Performs under supervision of management semiannual billing/collecting of Contractor OQ accounts.
- Enter new Hiring Clients in Zuora accounting software as needed.
- Enter invoicing data and payments received daily in NetSuite and Zuora accounting software.
- Coordinate with department managers concerning customer account status as needed.
- Respond daily to email and telephone inquiries for accounting.
- Monitor the database for changes in customer accounts that adversely affect invoicing.
- Contact customers with outstanding balances to coordinate payment of past-due accounts.
- Proactively work to improve the rate of return on outstanding collections.
- Supports, participates, and adheres to the organization’s Information Security Management System program, complying with all established policies and procedures relating to the ISMS, including, but not limited to:
- Responsible for the protection of company information assets under their care or operation
- All employees have a professional duty to report any information security issues or incidents or situations that present potential security risks to their direct supervisor and/or the Management Representative
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- High School diploma or GED required; College Degree preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of prior experience supporting a corporate accounting department
- Familiarity with office technology products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook calendar
- Demonstrated ability to have strong attention to detail
- High level of professionalism and the ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial data
