Your Role:
The Student Engagement Operations Coordinator (SEOC) serves as the primary operations support person for the Student Engagement Team and collaborates closely with the Director of Student Engagement to maintain and grow a robust Alumni Ambassador Program. With an emphasis on peer-to-peer engagement, the SEOC works closely with CEA CAPA’s Marketing, Institutional Relations, and Enrollment Teams to support the student journey through content development and data analysis in CEA CAPA’s gamification platform, Passport.
The SEOC also collaboratively advises students who participate in CEA CAPA’s Alumni Ambassador and Content Creator programs.
What You’ll Do:
- Spearheads Alumni Ambassador recruitment, application cycle, and onboarding in collaboration with Student Engagement Team.
- Provides operational support to Student Engagement Team to ensure successful activation of Alumni Ambassadors and campus engagement initiatives.
- Supports student content creation, particularly through the lens of diversity and inclusion, by ensuring user generated content is organized and implemented across CEA CAPA’s digital spaces.
- Develops training materials and build digital platform resources to optimize the alumni experience.
- Reports on Ambassador trends and outcomes, ensuring that CEA CAPA staff worldwide has access to, and knowledge of, Ambassador created content and resources.
- In collaboration with key CEA CAPA stakeholders, assists in regular evaluation and development of CEA CAPA student journey, and proposes best use case for Passport, developing digital assets as needed.
- Designs and builds gamified challenges for relevant student profiles.
- Actively tracks CEA CAPA Passport engagement and reports on performance and overall program efforts against organizational goals.
Starting Salary: $47,000-$52,000
What Makes a Great Candidate:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Commitment to working with students from diverse and underrepresented populations in study abroad
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while also collaborating with team members
- Demonstrated initiative for problem solving and developing creative solutions
Preferred:
- 1+ years of experience in student engagement or higher education
- Experience with gamification and/or CRM databases, especially Salesforce
