Overview:
Tremendous is looking for an Operations Analyst to support our operations team. You should be excited to help shape our day-to-day compliance operations — as the third person on the team, you’ll have the opportunity to make a big impact.Our team is committed to making payments safe around the world. We’re seeking an individual with a passion for problem-solving against an ever-evolving set of challenges. The right person for this role won’t simply follow a set of rules but will balance our commitment to compliance with the user experience.

You will:
Conduct detailed account investigations and make account-level judgments. You’ll review and approve payments, ensuring accuracy and adherence to compliance standards.
Identify and handle risky fraudulent activity. You’ll monitor and manage compliance-related activities, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements.
Develop and implement processes to improve operational efficiency and mitigate risks. This involves documenting and sharing best practices with the wider team.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to balance compliance requirements with an exceptional user experience.
Identify and resolve operational issues, leveraging strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
You have:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail. You are adept at pattern recognition and identifying trends in data or behavior.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across internal product, support, and business operations teams.
The ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and stay organized.
An ownership mentality with a commitment to continuous improvement and user-centric solutions.
At least 2 years of experience in an operational role. Some startup experience preferred.
