Your Role:
The Admissions Counselor is integral to our student engagement and admissions process, focusing on prospective students interested in studying abroad. By understanding students’ needs, challenges, and objectives, the Admissions Counselor helps support students on their study abroad journey by helping them select the best CEA CAPA program, completing the application and getting accepted into the program.
What You’ll Do:
The job duties listed below are not all inclusive of what the employee may be responsible for. Other duties may be assigned.
- Contact prospective students through various channels including outbound calls, emails, and text messaging.
- Support students through the application process, providing clear instructions and advising on their program of choice, and requirements to ensure they are prepared for their program abroad
- Serve as the primary contact for students that are interested in studying abroad and through the admissions process into their chosen program
- Engage with leads in a consultative manner to understand their needs, challenges, and objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized solutions that address students’ requirements and add value to their study abroad goals.
- Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with students to foster loyalty and retention. Serve as a trusted advisor, providing ongoing support, guidance, and proactive communication to ensure students’ satisfaction.
Starting Salary: $48,000
What Makes a Great Candidate:
- Associate’s degree required.
- 2+ years of customer service and/or sales experience.
- Experience with international education or higher-ed administration is a plus.
- Proficient in MS Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience using CRM databases, Salesforce preferred.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
