Skills: Must be able to diagnose problems with and repair the following: major appliancesHVACbasic - intermediate plumbing (when no license required)basic - intermediate electrical (when no license required)sheetrockgeneral carpentrypool carepainting – apartments/common areascleaninggeneral apartment turnsgeneral oversight of retail maintenance (as needed)general involvement in ESG initiatives (as needed)Other skills included, but not limited to:ability to deal well with people and get them to feel comfortable quicklybasic computer skills, specifically knowledge of Microsoft Office and Yardi productsgood verbal and written communication skillsstrong customer service orientationmust have the ability to arrive at the site on time, based on schedule Requirements:High School Diploma or equivalent or 2 years of experience in the field.EPA certifications for refrigerant recycling and at a minimum, Type I & II certifications Valid Driver’s License and insuranceBlack Seal – if required by propertyCPO – Certified Pool Operator CertificationOther licenses and certifications as required by state or local lawsCompensation: $65,000+Veris Residential, Inc.
