The Facilities Coordinator will undertake a variety of administrative and office support activities. This role will be an integral part in ensuring that our office operations run smoothly and are successful in supporting other business activities. Responsibilities include office maintenance and support, event coordination including set-up and break down, managing incoming and outgoing mail as well as fulfilling special FedEx and UPS mailing projects, keeping inventory of office assets, daily run to the post office, occasional out-of-office errands, and maintaining stock levels for office supplies.In addition, the Facilities Coordinator will be responsible for daily monitoring of an internal facilities case report and external work order portal. In conjunction with these is the facilitation of all actions necessary to complete requests/issues entered on said reports.
This will include contacting appropriate vendors/maintenance people to complete the jobs required and updating status information for all involved parties throughout completion of each task.The Facilities Coordinator is also accountable for maintaining communication with outside vendors responsible for maintaining all appliances within the building and coordination of activities related to the upkeep of the office in general.Requirements are:
- Associate’s degree preferred
- 1-2+ years of facilities maintenance experience preferred
- Occasional flexibility in hours required
- Phone skills required for daily relief at switchboard
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
- Valid driver’ license
- Strong communication, follow-up, prioritization, and organizational skills
- Individual should be self-motivated and be able to work with a sense of urgency
- Skilled to be able to resolve issues independently but also possess ability to be a team player
- Must be able to work a 5-day work week in-office
