Position Overview
The Lead Front End Developer, a fully remote position, will report directly to the Director of Technology in the Software Development department. This role is critical in developing, integrating, and implementing frontend components to meet the organization's needs while leading a team of frontend developers.
Essential job functions:
Develop and Integrate Frontend Components
Develop and integrate frontend components to meet the organization's needs.
Collaborate with peers, department heads, and subject matter experts across various groups to maintain the organization's desired future state code and systems.
Lead and Implement Solutions
Lead the development and implementation of frontend solutions in sprints.
Perform and facilitate requirements analysis, coordinate user acceptance testing, and manage competing resources and priorities through sprint planning.
Maintain System and Infrastructure Availability
Implement methods to maintain high system and infrastructure availability.
Document and communicate the results of your efforts.

Qualifications
Minimum Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant work experience preferred.
Minimum of 5 years' experience as a frontend developer utilizing required technologies.
Proficiency in React.js and Next.js.
Experience with Vercel/Layer0 serverless functions, middleware/proxy API using Node.js, and npm package development.
Familiarity with PHP 7, frameworks such as Symfony, design patterns with PSR-2 coding standards, Jenkins, JIRA, GitHub, Contentful CMS, Cloudinary integrations, API design and implementation, PCI security standards, and ADA coding requirements.
Experience leading both on and off-shore teams.
