Associate Project Manager who would be responsible for supporting the Account team in managing the day-to-day activity of the account, including managing client timelines, maintaining the integrity of the client’s budget, and partnering with the team to find efficiencies. A pivotal member of the project management team, the Associate Project Manager helps to guide the day-to-day account by: working with the internal team to meet and/or exceed clients' expectations. Responsibilities:
- Partner with another Project Manager to manage account on a day-to-day basis through our various platforms
- Help develop estimates and timelines for the brand
- Support leading internal meetings (e.g., status meetings, job kick-offs, internal reviews)
- Updating the internal status sheets and GANTTs regularly, to ensure teams are well informed of deliverables
- Route jobs through various departments via Ziflow in the proper routing sequence, while ensuring approvals of all parties and aligned to established brand workflow
- Partner with Account for client financial tracking, status reports, and Med/Legal submission processes
- Keeps client and agency teams informed of project updates (e.g., timing adjustments, scope tracking, and internal and external feedback)
- Is an ambassador of communication both internally and externally
- Anticipates project blockers and collaborates with the team to find solutions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, advertising, marketing, communications or science/medicine major.
- One to two years agency experience required with established track record including experience working autonomously
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- MS Project, PowerPoint, Excel
- A proactive person who can multi-task, foster a positive team atmosphere, and be a leader
- Positive attitude/willingness to take on new tasks
- Eagerness to learn and ability to learn quickly
- Self-starter
- Thrives in a high-pressure, time sensitive environment
