This role will help manage the team in numbers as well as coach through the business development lifecycle. What Is Cool About This Job
This is an established division of sales for WP Engine. As the Acquisition manager, you will help ignite and grow our sales program by leading and encouraging a team of Acquisition Account Executives. In this sales management role, your insights and experience will be key to driving the performance of our Acquisition Team. In this role, you would mentor, coach, recruit, and hire today's team and the next generation of Acquisition Account Executives.
This is a hybrid role!
Our teams visit the Austin, TX office location weekly on Thursdays and once a month on Tuesdays.
The Day To Day
Take operational leadership over the Brand Acquisition Team.
Coach, lead, and develop a team of 7+ Brand Account Executives, including weekly 1x1s and ongoing training and development.
Evaluate current processes and find opportunities to improve.
Contribute to the strategy and vision for the Brand business segment, which includes focusing on inbound, outbound, and BDR-passed motion.
Build a fantastic team culture within the Acquisition sales team.
Lead a winning team that overachieves sales and management objectives.
Develop a plan for the next phase of growth for the business unit with the right economics for financial success.
Your Expertise And Passion
Current closing sales management experience and/or 2 years of indirect team closing sales management expertise.
Confirmed and documented success in achieving team and/or individual quotas and objectives.
Exposure to Solution Selling, Customer-Centric Selling, Sandler, or SPIN is strongly preferred.
Passion for coaching and mentoring emerging sales talent within your own team and the XDR org.
Keen understanding of the WordPress community and market combined with strong business and sales acumen.
Ability to use Salesforce to build and run Salesforce reports. SalesLoft & chat tool experience are a plus!

On Target Earnings (OTE)$170,000.00
We believe that compensation should be reflective of the impact you have within the organization relative to the market value of your role. The cash compensation package above includes base pay plus on-target commission for employees in eligible roles. Sales incentive plans are uncapped with significant earning potential.
