Position Summary
Buildout is on a tear. In the last five years the company has grown both its revenues and its product portfolio - through new product development, acquisitions, and broadening its customer base. This environment of dynamic change is exciting for the commercial real estate industry that Buildout serves, but makes for a lot of moving parts under the hood. The company is in need of a hands on problem solver, unafraid of complexity and nuance, to jump in as our Revenue Operations Manager on the team.
The role isn’t for the faint of heart, but is the gateway to material impact to company operations on the whole. As the Revenue Operations Manager, you will lead and oversee the administration, integration, and utilization of various software tools, systems, and internal processes involved in sales, marketing, and our customer success functions. This role is crucial in driving efficiency and effectiveness across these teams as well as maximizing revenue growth for Buildout and our customers. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and implement data-driven strategies to achieve revenue goals. Think simplifying the tech stack, perfecting the data, and providing laser-like focus to revenue leaders on where they should spend their time.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze go-to-market data across disparate systems to identify strategic areas for operational improvement, ultimately increasing new revenue and reducing customer churn. Translate those insights into project plans with actionable recommendations, present it to Revenue Leadership, and secure their buy-in to execute your vision.
Take ownership of various elements of the RevOps tech stack (for example; RevOps Support Tickets, Salesforce, Docusign, Outreach, ChurnZero) by executing development, administration, and day-to-day fixes for the systems.
Own the Marketing tech stack, including campaign creation, campaign member assignment, conversion automation, deduplication, and UTM and top-of-funnel reporting.
Ensure that all internal systems and processes are compliant with Buildout’s data security and legal regulations.
Participate in continuous change management, and drive communication efforts across relevant stakeholders. New processes and plans are only as good as the team’s adoption of them.
Lead training sessions for ICs and managers for any improvement initiatives or projects you own, including the creation and maintenance of any documentation needed.
Proactively identify and implement operational and technical improvements and enhancements that drive sales productivity and improve customer experience
Create and maintain metrics reports on marketing and sales activities, effectiveness, and business impact.
Build and sustain strong relationships with stakeholders across the company, manage project expectations, and continuous updates.
Support the configuration and adoption of all new and existing SFDC features across the organization, and ensure data accuracy across the SFDC environment.
Support Deal Approvals as part of the deal desk function.
Qualifications:
You’re a Revenue Ops ninja, with 4+ years of direct experience in revenue operations or a related role, sales operations is preferred, with some marketing operations or business operations in the mix.
You’re a Salesforce Master, with expert level knowledge of all of SFDC backend functionality. From flows to API integrations, you’re at home coming up with creative and scalable solutions to SFDC automation.
You’re customer-obsessed, with experience in sales, marketing, or customer success, and a strong understanding of the processes and tools used in these functions.
You are as organized as they come, with a meticulous approach to project documentation, project management, and task prioritization.
Gantt charts are your jam, and you have a proven track record of managing and delivering projects on time.
You nerd out on tech tools, with high proficiency in HubSpot, Outreach, ChurnZero, Docusign, Zapier, and similar platforms.
You’re great at the “what”, and even better at the “so what”, with a strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. Direct experience with data analysis tools like Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or Google Analytics is a plus. Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is also a plus.
You write and talk good, with excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with different teams and stakeholders.
You’re a dot-connecter, full of creative problem-solving skills to address challenges and optimize processes, combined with the strategic mindset needed to to align operational activities with business goals.
You have a few notches on your certification belt, with SFDC, Hubspot, LeanData, or similar Admin certifications.
