Your Role:
The Senior Accountant will play a crucial role in role in managing our international financial operations and ensuring compliance with global tax regulations. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in international tax strategies, strong analytical abilities, and a meticulous attention to detail. This position offers an exciting opportunity in a challenging and fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Oversee and manage global accounting functions and compliance: collaborating with external international accounting firms to support audit and tax filing requirements for international entities.
- Provide requested information for tax, statutory audits/financials/filings.
- Perform month end close tasks: international bank reconciliations, balance sheet account reconciliations—including payroll and benefits reconciliations.
- Book transfer pricing journal entries and follow transfer pricing policies and documentation, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Work with global directors to ensure they are providing accounting information on a timely basis.
- Assist with reviewing monthly financials and variance analysis to identify any issues with financial statements.
- Participate in cross-functional projects to improve financial processes and systems integration across global operations.
- Ensure compliance with local GAAP and applicable international financial reporting standards (IFRS) across multiple jurisdictions.
What Makes a Great Candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA certification is highly desired in this role
- 5+ years of progressive experience in global accounting, including working with international tax and accounting firms, and experience with VAT and transfer pricing
- Strong understanding foreign currency and intercompany transactions
- Experience with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Business Central and tax compliance software is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic recommendations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and regions.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with a commitment to accuracy and meeting deadlines.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
