Position Summary
This position is responsible for providing technical support and install of all audio & visual equipment at our client sites. This role will lead and train other members of team. This role will work with various internal & external stakeholders to ensure jobs are completed accurately and on time.
Responsibilities
- Installing Racks
- Running Small Teams
- Communication with Coordinator, Project Manager and Customers
- Configuration of Manufacturer devices
- Soldering & determining pinouts; controls, audio, low voltage power
- Fiber termination
- Network setup: Assign IP Numbers, connect to a wireless access point, connect to internet and run TeamViewer
- Test and Troubleshoot Control manually and by DSP’s, Audio and Video systems
- Read and understand system drawings
- Populate Equipment Racks
- Lead and supervise a crew on any skill-level project
- Project Commissioning
- Attend jobsite meetings
Education & Skill Requirements
- 2 years technical training
- 2+ years A/V experience in system installation, integration, programming, project management, and/or design
- Must hold a valid driver’s license and good driving record
- Must be able to successfully pass background & drug screening
- Previous experience leading a team is a strong asset
