The purpose of this position is to unload loads from trucks and load logs onto log deck using a wheeled log loader.


The hourly rate of pay for this position is $25.08.


Key Activities:


  • Must be able to obtain a forklift license.
  • Must complete the daily checklist on equipment according to the Mobile Equipment Procedure.
  • Must safely operate wheeled log loader..
  • Must safely operate a knuckle boom high lift stacker..
  • Able to unload log trucks and properly place logs on debarker infeed decks.
  • Sort, stack, and transfer logs to proper locations in the log storage area.
  • Check and monitor fluid levels, wash down, and clean machine daily.

Requirements:


  • High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
  • Forklift license required.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to make decisions quickly.
