This role is based onsite at our Redwood City, CA office.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the functional team responsible for ensuring the quality of Carbon’s hardware & accessories products
- Build systems to proactively monitor field and production data to identify systemic trends which could indicate quality issues
- Develop and maintain quality control plans for parts and products
- Address quality issues that arise through efficient containment, detailed root cause investigations, and cross functional collaboration to ensure implementation of corrective actions
- Collaborate with R&D on new development projects to ensure quality requirements are input into product requirements
Requirements:
- BS or MS in relevant engineering discipline
- 7+ years work experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience leading a team of engineers
- Ability to work in a fast paced, globally minded environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Skills:
- Quickbase, JMP, Statistical Process Control
- Familiarity with Quality System standards such as ISO 9001
Preferred Qualifications:
- Formal training in problem solving techniques
- Experience working with and managing quality at contract manufacturers
- Demonstrated progression of increasing responsibility throughout career

The pay range for this position is $152,800.00 - $229,200.00. Your actual salary will be based on your experience, work location, certifications and the unique skills you bring to the role.
