You Will:
- Support the conversation intelligence team’s ownership of our AI initiatives and products
- Develop expertise in Invoca’s conversation intelligence platform through feature development, service ownership, and documentation.Have the opportunity to grow as an engineer, receive mentorship, and mentor others in a highly collaborative and inclusive environment
- Level up those around you to help them grow while reinforcing your own knowledge
- Have end-to-end responsibility for complex projects that require the work of multiple people to complete
- Work in a large, rapidly changing and evolving codebase using git version control.
- Diagnose the root cause of problems for any service area owned by the team
- Be part of a self-sufficient team with a dedicated Product Manager, Tech Lead, and QA Engineer
- Building and scale services that interface with cutting edge AI technology
- Proactively communicate production issues, write actionable tickets without prompting, and quickly fix or delegate them
- Be able to help guide a team around impediments to progress
You Have:
- Experience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails/Sinatra or Python and Django/Flask or equivalent
- Experience building and interfacing with REST APIs
- Experience with CSS, HTML, Javascript, and frontend frameworks (React and GraphQL experience a plus)
- Experience with database fundamentals and design
- Interest or experience in queueing technologies such as Kafka, Sidekiq, RabbitMQ or equivalent.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Bamboo or equivalent)
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Grafana, ElasticSearch, or equivalent
- Clear and effective communication

- Position Base Range - Salary Range $102,000 -$124,000 / plus bonus potential
