About the Role:
The Cloud Infra team is responsible for BigPanda’s cloud environment. The team is composed of skilled DevOps engineers in charge of multiple technologies that directly affect the platform's stability, reliability, and scalability, using cutting-edge technologies such as EKS, ArgoCD, ArgoWF, GitOps, and IaC, in an AWS environment.We are seeking a skilled
Senior
DevSecOps Engineer with a strong background in both security and DevOps to join our team. You will be in charge of automating and securing the software development lifecycle with an emphasis on scalability and reliability and driving cross-functional security initiatives.
What you will do:
- Partner with the Security team to implement tools, technologies, and processes into the existing DevOps workflows
- Foster a culture of security awareness and continuous improvement
- Conduct regular security assessments, threat modeling, and risk analysis to identify and mitigate potential security vulnerabilities
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of security processes, procedures, and configurations
- Ensuring minimal impact on operations by implementing and managing monitoring tools, Cloudflare services, and overall web enterprise security
What skills and experience you’ll bring to BigPanda:
- 5+ years of experience in securing cloud services
- Proficiency in scripting (e.g., Python, Bash)
- Experience with CSPM tools such as Wiz, Gem
- Experience with Cloudflare Zero Trust Network Architecture and WAF
- Experience with IaC, GitOps, and CI/CD methodologies, Kubernetes
- Proficiency in working with Network Protocols
- A problem solver who practices adaptability and flexibility to business needs
