About the Role
The Senior Content Marketing Manager will join the Marketing team and lead content strategy, content creation, search engine optimization (SEO), by developing and ensuring a consistent voice that supports Syndio’s brand. This role requires strong collaboration and the ability to deliver results through cross-functional alignment and communication. You should have a solid understanding of B2B content marketing, SEO, email marketing, and integrated, multichannel programs. Core Responsibilities
- Develop Syndio’s content strategy by crafting interesting, fresh, and well-researched content that drives traffic and nurtures prospects
- Work closely with senior leaders, marketing teammates, and other departments to articulate Syndio’s core benefits consistently through various distribution channels
- Be a specialist in understanding the human resources, compensation, labor and employment law audiences - seeking data and relevant trends to improve the impact and effectiveness of content and copy across the customer journey through a variety of channels
- Research and create industry-specific content in line with Syndio’s segmentation strategy to support campaigns and account based marketing initiatives that articulate our core benefits
- Produce high-quality campaign content, articles, blogs, email marketing messages, web copy, and more (e.g. YouTube channel, and monthly newsletter)
- Continuously measure and improve content performance, such as owning SEO strategy to improve Syndio’s ranking for key topics
- Partner with internal domain experts to shape the Syndio message based on industry trends
About You
- You have 5+ years of B2B content marketing, direct copywriting, or editorial experience
- Knowledge of content marketing strategy, buyer journeys, and SEO
- Editorial mindset that seeks to understand core audiences' consumption behavior
- Detail-oriented multitasker with exceptional writing, editing, organizational skills
- Relentlessly curious with a collaborative, insights-driven focus approach to content creation
- You bring a balance of humility and confidence to the team, able to listen and learn from others, while also being decisive to move content forward
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally
- Currently located within Seattle, SF, or NY with an eagerness to get together with local teammates
Role Progression
In the first 30 Days, deep dive and assess: Ramp up on existing content strategy, processes, and tools. Conduct a thorough assessment of current content performance, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement. Build strong relationships with the team and key stakeholders.At around 60 Days, refine and execute strategy: Refine the existing content strategy based on assessment findings. Prioritize and implement content initiatives to address identified gaps. Optimize content for SEO and user experience.By 90 Days, lead with innovation: Take ownership of the content marketing function. - 💰 Competitive Compensation. For this role our base salary is targeted at $124-146k per year. Final offer amounts are determined by factors such as experience and expertise. We take a geo neutral approach to compensation within the US, meaning that we pay based on job function and level, not location.
