POSITION SUMMARY


We are seeking a passionate and capable Materials Handler to join our Technical Operations team. As a member of the Supply Chain group, you will be working with Manufacturing, Quality, and Laboratory Operations groups to ensure that all the material needs of the business are met.The Materials Handler will be primarily tasked with the receipt, stocking, inventory management, and data entry for materials to support pre-clinical/ tox/ engineering and GMP manufacturing activities. Certain activities will be managed by SOP, and the Materials Handler must ensure that they are able to follow all SOPs and work instructions.Additional activities may include communication with Umoja teams and feedback on warehouse processes.

Ideal candidate will have good communication skills, be highly organized, and detail oriented. Prior experience with a GMP environment and experience driving a forklift highly preferred.This role will support supply chain activities, reporting into the Associate Director of Supply Chain.

CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES


Specific responsibilities include:  


  • The correct and timely receipt and processing of GMP and non-GMP materials at The CLIMB warehouse in Louisville, CO.
  • Maintaining a safe, clean, and orderly warehouse in support of manufacturing activity
  • Overseeing Raw Material kitting and transfer
  • Cycle counting warehouse inventory and maintaining high accuracy
  • Operating the warehouse according to Umoja SOPs and Quality Systems

The successful candidate will have:


  • A GED or equivalent degree
  • At least 2 years experience in a Supply Chain / Warehouse Role
  • High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite

Preferred Qualifications:  


  • Forklift operating license
  • Experience with SAP or other Inventory management software
  • Experience operating in a cGMP environment

Physical Requirements:  


  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry to 50 lbs
  • Comfortable being on your feet for extended periods of time.
  • Exposure to warehousing and manufacturing areas at +5°C including storage freezer at –20°C and work in the walk in cold room at 2-8°C.

Salary Range: $19.70 - $23.80/hour.


This role is non-exempt and overtime eligible.
