ABOUT THE POSITION:
The Oberto team has an opening for the critical position of Processing RTE Oven Operator for 1st shift. The 1st Shift Production RTE Oven Operator is responsible for organizing and executing the finished product weighing process, initiating the cook cycle, and recording and verifying finished product quality data.
SCHEDULE:
- 1st Shift - 8 hours per day with possible daily overtime and during peak summer/fall production.
WAGE: $23.00 per hour
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Set appropriate controls (temperature and humidity) to required levels.
- Makes sure that proper yield is reached by accurately recording information on charts, monitor the cook process and notify the lead/supervisor of any problems.
- Understand and complete HACCP and quality paperwork accurately.
- Responsible for effectively communicating with all departments to ensure proper production flow.
- Required to operate ovens on both the raw and finished side of production.
- Responsible for ensuring product Quality.
- Makes necessary adjustments to GCO/Wolverine with leads approval.
- Responsible for communicating information affecting production to incoming shift Operator(s) and Lead.
- Responsible for performing job duties in compliance with all GMP's and following all company safety standards.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 6 months production/processing experience preferred.
- 6 months machine or oven operator experience preferred.
- Pallet jack experience preferred.
