About the Role
As a remote Sr. Software Engineer on the Authorization Advisor team, you will build a generative AI-powered assistant that empowers specialists to complete prior authorizations. Supporting you will be a cross-functional group including product, design, and machine learning teams.You will integrate early, demo often, and incorporate feedback from internal and external users to iteratively build and land features so that they truly solve problems for our customers. You will be expected to come up with creative solutions, share your experience with the team, help mentor junior team members, and work together to shape the platform architecture.

What You'll Do
- Land cutting-edge and novel experiences at large healthcare organizations
- Lead and participate in design discussions and planning sessions
- Partner closely with our product, design, and machine learning teams
- Explore and evaluate new technologies in healthcare
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science/Software Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience using Python, Java, or similar.
- Proven track record with SaaS products.
Nice to haves
- Experience with healthcare data exchange (FHIR, HL7, EDI)
- Familiarity with FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, Postgres.
- Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, AWS.
- CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions.
- Firm grasp of system design principles.
- Knowledge of AI/ML, particularly generative AI.
- Experience in debugging and resolving outages in production environments.

Compensation
- Based on market data and other factors, the salary range for this position is $160,000-$220,000 + Equity. However, a salary higher or lower than this range may be appropriate for a candidate whose qualifications differ meaningfully from those listed in the job description.
