This role requires extensive expertise in front-end web development to contribute to Pendulum’s commercial growth. As a Senior Front-End Engineer, your main objective will be to maintain and enhance our e-commerce platform.
What You'll Do:
- Collaborate with key stakeholders in Marketing & E-Commerce to develop new features and launch new product initiatives on our consumer site.
- Work with the broader Data & Systems team to ensure ongoing stability, performance, and maintenance of our consumer site.
- Implement responsive web designs to enhance user experience.
- Optimize the e-commerce platform for maximum speed and scalability.
- Integrate with backend services and third-party APIs.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in front-end development.
Knowledge Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in responsive front-end web development.
- Strong proficiency in Typescript and React.
- Experience developing for the Shopify platform (e.g. Liquid, Hydrogen).
- Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment where adaptability is imperative.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
