$55-60k base annually, 40% commission on personal training services + incredible benefits including up to a 4% employer match with our 401(k)

Your Mission:
As a Program Manager at Lulafit, you will be responsible for the management of your assigned fitness center, including member management, leading personal training activities and group fitness programming. You will ensure smooth and efficient operational procedures within the fitness center while providing the highest level of customer service. You will be tenant facing, provide anticipatory service, be extremely detail oriented, and maintain a high level of professionalism with all levels of stakeholders.

You will create deep and meaningful relationships with the building’s management team, tenants, and external partners, ensuring they never want to see your team leave. Your legacy will include bringing wellness and peak performance to the masses and transforming the office building into a place where tenants are excited to come every day. You will lead the team to become a lasting fixture in the community.
What You're Responsible For:
- Fitness Center Operational Management: Oversee the operational strategy and management of your assigned fitness center ensuring the operations are a seamless experience for tenants. This may include: ordering locker room supplies, cleaning equipment, folding and restocking towels and laundry, opening and closing procedures, etc.
- Fitness Center Services: Act as head personal trainer by coordinating and administering personal training and small group training sessions within the fitness center. Plan and lead group fitness classes to the membership population. Provide timely and professional communication to members before and after sessions to ensure a hospitality-focused experience.
- Fitness Center Revenue Generation: Manage payment for memberships, sessions and session packages, upselling and cross-selling where appropriate. Implement and maintain a revenue generation strategy to meet or exceed revenue goals month over month.
- Marketing and Communication: Implement and oversee marketing strategies and communications, including newsletters, email campaigns, digital marketing, and printed materials to engage tenants.
- Chicago Site Operational Support: Directly support other Chicago market site operations on an as-needed basis. This may include: teaching fitness classes, supporting and executing events, administrative duties such as data entry, and ensuring the facilities are well maintained and welcoming for tenants.
- Tenant Satisfaction and Engagement: Prioritize tenant satisfaction by actively engaging with tenants to understand their needs and preferences. Implement innovative strategies and programs to enhance their experience, fostering a vibrant and connected community that drives long-term loyalty and satisfaction.
- Building Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the building maintenance and operations teams to ensure the facility is well maintained.
Who You Are: Baseline Requirements:
- You have 3+ years experience in a fitness center environment. You may have worked as a manager of a boutique studio or a lead personal trainer at a commercial gym.
- Even better if your experience has touched the corporate fitness or wellness sector.
- You must have a valid Personal Training certification from a nationally recognized organization.
- You must be comfortable teaching multiple formats of group fitness classes to groups of all sizes.
- You are proficient with both the Google suite (what lulafit uses) and Microsoft Office (what our clients use). Don’t worry, you don’t need to be great at PowerPoint nor super savvy with Excel.

In this role you’ll be communicating a lot about bookings (both coordinating them and confirming), sending vendor communications, and engaging with different levels of tenants (office managers to C-Suite).
- A flexible and adaptable entrepreneur: You thrive in an ever changing environment. You can instinctually reprioritize your tasks based on changing demands, and can keep a level head and hospitality mindset through these changes. You are able to work autonomously and consistently aim to anticipate colleague and tenant needs.
- A proven revenue generator. You have experience sourcing, vetting, and managing vendor relationships. You have also monetized fitness center memberships and hit personal training revenue goals in previous roles.
