Who You Are
Prowess Consulting is looking for a Sales Development Representative/Account Manager with excellent sales acumen to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in selling to then healthcare and/or the financial industries. This is a full-time role that can be worked remotely from Iowa, however, this role will be client-facing so traveling to client sites will be required. No third-party agencies, please.
The Role
Build a pipeline by setting introductory meetings with target influencers and key decision makers
Research and build new and existing accounts through rigorous research, outbound calling efforts and by creating/executing strategic email and social campaigns
Perform analysis of inbound and outbound prospects’ business and engage with these prospects by phone and/or email
Apply effective communication skills, collaborating directly with customers, sales and cross functional teams
Work in a fast-paced environment, take the initiative to get stuff done, try new things and amplify your successes by sharing your findings with your team
Qualifications
A passion for technology and three (3) to five (5) years of experience selling solutions to healthcare or financial services clients
A sense of urgency and ability to manage time and prioritize tasks
Resourcefulness and results driven operating style
Collaborative and coachable mindset - you should be excited about continuously improving your skills and impact
Excellent communication skills are required
Experience with customer-facing sales
Stellar analytical and critical thinking skills are a must
Must have an ability to develop strong, long-lasting relationships (both internal and external)
Must have experience with both procuring new clients and maintaining relationships with existing clients
A sense of urgency and ability to manage time and prioritize tasks

Additional Details
The offered base pay range for this position is $60,000 to $80,000 per year, plus variable compensation, depending on geographic location and experience. Note that base pay ranges may vary for different work locations within the US, which allows for competitive pay and consistency in different states.
Full-time employees (defined as working 30 hours or more per week) within the US have access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, basic life insurance, a 401K plan with matching, well-being benefits, education benefits, and other benefits.
Full-time employees based in the US receive 11 paid holidays per year, in addition to accruing paid time off based on tenure.
