We are seeking a talented and motivated Prompt Engineer to join our Data Science team at Netomi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting, optimizing, evaluating, and benchmarking prompts to enhance the performance and accuracy of our AI models. You will work closely with data scientists, machine learning engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that our AI solutions are effective, efficient, and aligned with business objectives.

Job Responsibilities:


  • Prompt Development: Design and write high-quality prompts to elicit desired responses from AI models, ensuring clarity, coherence, and relevance.
  • Optimization: Continuously refine and optimize prompts to improve AI model performance, reduce ambiguity, and enhance user satisfaction.
  • Evaluation: Develop and implement evaluation frameworks to assess the effectiveness of prompts, using both qualitative and quantitative metrics.
  • Benchmarking: Conduct benchmarking studies to compare the performance of different prompts and identify best practices.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Data Science team to understand model requirements and incorporate feedback from various stakeholders.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of prompt development processes, optimization techniques, and evaluation results.
  • Research: Stay up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in natural language processing (NLP) and AI to incorporate cutting-edge techniques into prompt engineering.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Linguistics, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning principles.
  • Experience with AI prompt engineering, including writing, optimizing, and evaluating prompts.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python.
  • Familiarity with AI frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with large language models (e.g., GPT-3, GPT-4, Llama3) and their applications.
