Overview
The Account Representative will be coached and mentored by their Senior Account Executive on a daily basis to grow revenue and long-term accounts that align with company goals, while maintaining a mutually beneficial relationship with the client. You will assist with developing new business, maintaining existing relationships, while honing your sales skills in a company that saves lives. Responsibilities will include, but not limited to, joining site walks, building proposals, reviewing construction bids, conducting industry-related research, handling information requests, and performing routine administrative functions.
You will be well organized and comfortable communicating with internal and external clients on the account executive’s behalf. This position will be based in our Lynnwood office and requires consistent daily attendance and attention to detail.
What You Will Do
- Assist in business development meetings with customers.
- Attend networking and social events (trade conferences, golf tournaments, sporting events, etc.) to promote business relationships.
- Support the Senior Account Executive in proposal production.
- Assist with seeking out new customer prospects.
- Assisting customers in their security master planning needs.
- Form business relationships with end users, electrical contractors, and vendors.
- Maintain and deepen quality relationships with existing customers.
- Assist the Sr. Account Executive in analyzing territory to identify opportunities to pursue.
- Participate in marketing and customer events.
- Accurately configure and price products and services to meet customer needs.
- Become familiar and trained with Absco’s product disciplines.
- Assist in maintaining accurate sales pipeline data in ERP system.
- Support the account executive in communicating with other departments.
- Identify and track bid opportunities, assist in bid qualification process and endorse qualified projects to the Sr. Account Executive.

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Fire, life safety and security and/or electrical industry experience a plus.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to drive as needed to client project locations.
- Will be required to stand, reach, bend, twist, squat, and move about freely in an office environment.
- May need to be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Able to use office equipment such as phone, copier, printer, etc.
- Overnight and out-of-State travel may be required on occasion.
