FlavorCloud is looking for an individual to be responsible for commercial pricing analysis, carrier SLA and KPI monitoring, and cross functional collaboration with other departments to prepare analytical reports that support decision making. This role is an analytical position that will provide key insights across internal and external carrier network metrics, as well as supporting the Revenue operations team with client pricing initiatives. The right person for this role is someone with a deep understanding of parcel shipping, analytical reporting, and pricing analysis, and 3PL logistics.

- Carrier cost analysis and service comparisons to consistently evaluate carrier network matrix.
- Collaborating with Sales and Partnership teams to support pricing and reporting comparisons for sales initiatives.
- Create data visualization reports to present analysis of carrier network metrics.
- Carrier SLA and KPI monitoring by building automated reporting to be able to make assessments of carrier partner performance.
- Develop automated reporting structures and cost evaluation methods for carrier invoice evaluation.
- Cross functional collaboration preparing analytical reports that support decision making and provide data insights that help support other internal departments.
- Ability to influence product roadmap and direction with network, customer, and operations specific feedback.
- Creating and iterating upon metrics to measure operational performance and identify issues and trends.
- Support organization with insights and data to improve the operational health of the carrier network.
- Collaborate on data analysis initiatives to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization throughout organization.
- Maintaining an organized database of all collected information to ensure efficient and effective information management.
- Supporting strategic initiatives working cross-functionally to identify key areas of opportunity for sales and customer success teams.
Skills
- Self-starter with strong knowledge of international logistics, carrier pricing, and 3PL operations.
- Strong strategic thinking with analytical and planning abilities.
- 5+ years of Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as PowerBI and Tableau.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify and correlate metrics relevant to carrier pricing and operations.
- Proven experience in a commercial operations or supply chain analytics role, preferably within a carrier or 3pl organization.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
- Degree in Business, Operations/Supply Chain Management, Analytics, Economics, or related field.
