Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Chief Financial Controller to join our dynamic and energetic team. As our CFO, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial health and integrity of the organization.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for Group Financial Reporting, KPI reporting, and the preparation of financial statements according to OR and Swiss GAAP FER
- Lead budgeting, financial planning, and cost management in collaboration with the finance team
- Ensure stringent cost control and reliable risk management
- Cash management, including Forex, and overseeing tax reporting and compliance with local experts
- Handle intercompany billing, transfer pricing agreements, and negotiate pricing with production partners, suppliers, and major customers
- Leading the Finance and HR department, serving as a representative of the company’s leadership team at the Horw headquarter
- Develop and implement optimization strategies, advising management, the board of directors, andexternal stakeholders effectively
Desired Candidate Profile
Experience
- 12-15 years of professional experience, minimum 2 years in the role of CFO / Head of Finance or another senior position in the finance sector.
Education
- Completed degree in Accounting or Finance, Economics, Business Administration or relevant qualification
Competencies
- Extensive and significant experience in a similar role, applying accounting principles and financial reporting, ideally within Swiss GAAP FER and Swiss Code of Obligations
- Empathetic leadership qualities, capable of uniting and motivating teams, coupled with a strategic foresight
- Expertise ideally with D365 or any other complex ERP system, excellent Excel skills and digital affinity to automate
- Proficiency in stakeholder management coupled with strategic, holistic thinking, and assertive approach
- Completed degree in Accounting or Finance, Economics, Business Administration or relevant qualification
