What We Need:


We’re looking for a Vice President to help establish, drive and expand our performance vertical. This Vice President of Performance will develop both advertiser and agency contacts and cultivate relationships at all levels to capitalize and grow the performance vertical, and influence Yieldmo’s position as the leader in performance marketing. As VP you will develop a strong POV and strategy, and build a performance team that will focus on key advertiser and agency contacts to drive new business with performance clients.

This role also works closely with the CRO, Product, Operations and Account Management to optimize the vertical strategy and grow revenue. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in performance media sales, 5+ years in driving performance media outcomes (and strong contracts with agencies active in performance marketing. For a motivated VP, this is what it is all about - building a new revenue stream within an established organization.

Responsibilities:


  • Lead and build a net new team focused on performance
  • Work closely with the Chief Revenue Officer and SVP, Platforms & Ops to build out the strategy to drive the best business outcomes
  • Work cross functionally with key stakeholders to further our agenda as a leader in performance media
  • Lead performance vertical efforts including prospecting, packaging and product feedback, driving new revenue in targeted marketplace and identifying expansion opportunities with current vertical clients 
  • Collaborate with the supply team on publisher business development; identify supply targets that will drive our outcomes for the Performance vertical
  • Develop advertiser and agency contacts and cultivate relationships at all levels to influence buying decisions
  • Prospect new business opportunities for key strategic verticals and from existing partners 
  • Develop and manage comprehensive managed service and automated programs for new and existing client base, closely monitoring performance to deliver positive outcomes for targeted clients
  • Upsell existing partners with new product and services and onboard new partners in the performance marketplace
  • Work closely with dedicated account management and operations to maximize client’s KPI

Requirements:


  • Minimum of 5-10 years+ of online media experience with expertise in digital performance, online media or technology
  • A strategic thinker, with the ability to translate marketer needs into compelling concepts and solutions
  • Comfortable and proficient with the entire sales cycle from prospecting, face-to-face meetings, pitching and contract negotiations
  • Possess superb organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Proven track record of revenue generation
  • Understand digital media and consumer behavior
  • Proven collaboration skills, with ability to lead cross-functional teams to achieve sales results
  • BA/BS with a strong academic record

Desired Traits:


  • RTB / Programmatic buying experience & Managed Service buying experience
  • Existing relationships and contacts with top-tier agencies and advertisers transacting in performance media
  • Digital tech background

US Jobs: The base salary range for this role is: $195,000-$225,000 per year. The range listed is just one component of Yieldmo's total compensation package for employees. Individual compensation decisions are based on a number of factors, including experience, level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company. We recognize that the person we hire may be less experienced (or more senior) than this job description as posted. In these situations, the updated salary range will be communicated with you as a candidate.

For all other countries, we have competitive pay bands based on market standards.
