Are you a night owl? Do you enjoy working with delicious handmade breads? Grand Central Bakery is hiring expeditors to pack and prepare our breads for delivery to our cafes and restaurants.
The Bread Expeditor is the link between Bread Production and Delivery. The Bread Expeditor safely, accurately, and efficiently pulls and expedites all phases of wholesale bread orders. This is the first position of four Bread Expeditor levels.The ideal candidate for this position will be a team player. They will have high performance standards, strong customer orientation and composure under pressure.

Rate of Pay:
This position pays $19.58 per hour.
Schedule:
Full-time, est. start time between 5 - 7pm and finished between 2 -3am. Schedule flexibility and the ability to work weekends and holidays is required.

Qualifications and Skills:
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to speak and understand English required
- Maintains a valid Food Handler's card - new hires are expected to have a valid card by their first date of work
- Basic math skills required
- Ability to function calmly and efficiently in high-pressure, multi-task, deadline-driven environment
Physical requirements include but are not limited to:
- This position stands for 100% of the shift worked and walks up to the equivalent of two miles per shift.
- Expeditors may be required to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. in the course of their normal duties.
- Expeditors work in warm environments.
- The production facility is constantly exposed to wheat flour dust and other grain dusts (rye, corn, oat).
