Account Manager, Medical Devices - Brazil North:


The Account Manager is responsible for projecting and achieving sales targets in units and revenue within assigned territories and providing pre-operative, intraoperative and postoperative product support in cardiac surgery.

The Account Manager must be able to travel to Rio De Janeiro and North of Brazil on a regular basis.


In addition, the Account Manager must be proficient in English. The resume uploaded must be written in English.


Essential Functions:


  • Achieve sales targets in units and revenue as well as price targets.
  • Propose sales targets and strategies to management regularly and present written reports and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with company staff and other resources effectively to maximize business opportunities, while maintaining territory spending within approved budgets.
  • Project and maintain company image and presence within assigned territory with regular and frequent customer visits, presence at trade shows, surgeon plan visits, and intraoperative support.
  • Promote the strategic products of Corcym portfolio in hospital, as well as to distributors through training initiatives.
  • Disseminate information regarding approved labelled indications for use.
  • Complete timely monthly sales reports, expense reports, account profiles, and other company reports as required.
  • Update the sales database continuously to maintain the data's reliability and validity.
  • Maintain in-depth and up-to-date personal knowledge base regarding all Corcym products.
  • Provide product training regarding labelled information including intended use, indications for use and target populations.
  • Manage territory expense budget.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:


  • Ability to constructively ask questions and challenge the status quo. Be the change, act and own.
  • Scientific and technical expertise in operative environments and surgical theaters.
  • Skill in anticipating the needs of both internal and external customers.
  • Operate with a sense of urgency, adeptly responding to a fast-changing environment.
  • Good knowledge of the market and competitors.
  • Ability to understand, analyze, and use data.
  • Proficiency in profiling, account management, opportunity management, lead management and CRM concepts.
  • Track record of successfully meeting goals.
  • Ability to prepare and manage effective account plans.
  • Facilitation skills and the ability to collaborate with internal teams to contribute useful ideas.
  • Proficiency in effective communication and in negotiating successful agreements.
  • Create internal relationships and establish good relationships in all levels of accounts.
  • A mindset focused on constant learning and improvement
  • Travel required: 70%

Education and Experience:


  • Graduate degree is essential, preferably in biomedical sciences or a related field.
  • 3+ years of clinical experience in a related medical field.
  • Sales experience is preferred.
