empowers companies to make cyber risk decisions across a wide range of platforms quickly and efficiently.  We help our customers’ cyber security and technology teams discover, prioritize and treat the most important risks based on real-time risk analytics, automated risk assessments, and remediation.  With actionable insights and timely communications provided by our software, our customers are reducing their response times to the constantly changing and emerging threats and saving their business from potential negative and significant impacts. The Director of Product Management is a strategic position responsible for the success of Brinqa’s products in the marketplace.  The position requires strong product management skills that balance market needs with company strategy and heavily relies upon management and communication skills.  Additionally, a technical understanding of enterprise software, customer IT environments and rapidly evolving security and compliance technologies is critical.This role will work with the EVP to set the vision and roadmap for Brinqa’s products.

The Director of Product Management will manage a team of product managers, UX designers, and technical writers. He/she will work closely with executives across the company to balance the roadmap across innovation and customer success initiatives and to effectively communicate the vision and roadmap plans internally and externally. In addition, the Director will create a process for communicating the Brinqa roadmap to prospects, customers and partners, including a continuous feedback loop into backlog prioritization and vision evolution.

WHAT YOU WILL DO


  • Work closely with the EVP and other executive team members to define the vision and strategy for Brinqa’s products based on market opportunities and investment priorities
  • Manage a team of product managers, UX designers, and technical writers
  • Develop and maintain a rolling 12-month product roadmap by collecting feedback from customers, partners, and internal teams
  • Provide direction and prioritization to manage the product backlog in a lean / agile environment
  • Provide product leadership for sales opportunities, including on-site customer visits when needed
  • Offer subject matter expertise to support go-to-market activities, including development of messaging, presentations/scripts, and FAQs that enable critical field resources and communicates our products’ value proposition
  • Conduct market and competitive research, analyzing and synthesizing signals from multiple sources: users, field teams, market data, competitive analysis, and others
  • Work with product marketing to develop product positioning in support marketing communications and other content creation
  • Serve as a product evangelist communicating the vision and direction internally and to the market, including customers, partners, prospects, analysts
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

WHAT YOU’LL NEED


  • 10+ years of experience in product management with 2+ in a product management leadership role 
  • BA/BS in business or technical field required
  • People management experience, including hiring and mentoring high-performance teams
  • Demonstrated success in working with engineering teams to plan, develop, refine, and launch successful enterprise software products
  • Experience collaborating with product marketing and corporate marketing to deliver content, drive thought-leadership and demand-gen programs
  • Experience delivering support to field and channel sales organizations
  • Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, and communication skills
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally when required (20% or less)
