Group Manager, Web Marketing Strategy & Experience
at Headspace:
As the Group Manager, Web Marketing Strategy & Experience you will be responsible for the Headspace website and partner with Product/Web Dev and Creative to deliver a site that best positions our brand while building a user experience to hit our growth targets for B2B and DTC. This position:
- sits in Marketing and therefore will be responsible for the marketing portion of web, working closely with our product web lead on a unified strategy, technical needs and prioritization
- reports into the Senior Director, Digital Marketing & Operations
What you will do:
- Scale and optimize our current SEO program, identifying gaps and opportunities as we continue to build a best-in-class program; partner with Product on technical optimization needs
- Build and expand upon existing web strategy to drive traffic, engage/educate users, and drive conversions for DTC and B2B business
- Manage a team of Web Managers in strategy / execution of their work along helping in career growth
- Develop and own marketing KPIs for SEO, Engagement, and Acquisition/CRO
- Partner with Product and Engineering to help define and evolve our marketing web technology stack (CMP/Contentful, web analytics, etc) and drive integration across web experiences
- Partner with Creative and Brand / Content Marketing/ Product Marketing / B2B marketing to bring Headspace to life across our web properties, namely blog strategy revamp and web redesign initiatives
- Partner with our legal team to continue to ensure our web experience are in compliance with regulations and ensure user privacy is represented in all decisions
- Own and drive the marketing web experience, ensuring the overall architecture, marketing campaign web experiences, and individual web page templates have an optimized user experience; partner with Product lead on overall end-to-end web experience
- Work with Product Marketing, Performance Marketing and Lifecycle teams to experiment on landing page optimization, lead gen strategy, and design and user journeys to maximize our conversion rates (CRO)
What you will bring:
- Experience in web marketing with a focus on demand gen and user acquisition.
- Experience at a DTC app / subscriptions company
- Proven experience as a strong business leader; ability to understand business priorities and proactively develop and execute web plans & strategies to accelerate the business
- 2+ years experience building and leading a team of high-performance web marketers
- Built web programs with emphasis on rapid testing with measurable results
- Expertise in Content Management Platform (Required experience with Contentful and/or Webflow) and how to streamline functions coming from it
- Experience collaborating with web engineering teams, in-house or agency
- Experience working with legal in regulated industries to insure compliance across key regulatory policies
- You have exceptional attention to detail and are comfortable working on multiple projects simultaneously
- You’re a proactive self-starter. You’re equally someone who can go into the weeds but can also drive big picture strategy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Pay & Benefits:The base salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to skills and scope required, relevant licensure and certifications, and unique relevant experience and job-related skills. The base salary range for this role is $130,000 - $183,000.At Headspace, cash salary is but one component of our Total Rewards package.
