People Operations Coordinator

This is an exciting time to join Brella as we anticipate the opening of 1 more center in the Los Angeles area over the 12 months in addition to our locations in Hollywood, Pasadena, and Playa Vista.
As a People (HR) Operations Coordinator You Will
- Own digital onboarding process, ensuring accurate and timely input of the new hires into the HRIS, benefits systems, and other internal platforms
- Send welcome documentation, including benefits information, and review new hire paperwork to ensure completeness and accuracy
- Assist with payroll processing by reviewing and approving time cards, entering deductions into the HRIS system and managing time off requests
- Provide accurate data to support payroll accuracy and compliance
- Assign required trainings to new and existing employees and monitor completion to ensure all mandatory training is up to date
- Create and manage internal offer letters for promotions and transfers, ensuring alignment with company policies and procedures
- Facilitate smooth transitions for employees moving into new roles within the organization and make necessary changes to HRIS system
- Complete leave of absence paperwork and manage necessary documentation
- Address general team member inquiries via the shared HR inbox providing timely and accurate responses
- Support employees with HR related questions ensuring a positive employee experience
- Assist with internal onboarding procedures for departing team members
- Provide support for launching employee engagement surveys and analyzing feedback to drive positive change
- Assist with the performance review cycle coordinating timelines, reminders, and necessary documentation
- Support additional People Team projects as needed
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Prior experience in Human Resources Administration
- Proficiency in HRIS systems, benefits administration, and Google Suite
- Strong organization skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to confidentiality and professionalism
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work collaboratively in a team environment

This Part-Time Role Is Eligible For
- $24-$27 per hour depending on relevant experience
- 20-25 hours per week
