Hi, we’re CompanyCam.
We’re a simple-to-use photo documentation and productivity app for contractors of all commercial and home services industries. Packed with intuitive functionality, CompanyCam facilitates unparalleled communication and accountability across a contractor’s entire business. We’re committed to providing a consumer-grade, game-changing experience that helps our users build trust within their company and with their customers. But don’t let that corporate description fool you—the people behind our buttoned-up product are laid-back (but hardworking), genuine, and kickass, and you could be one of them!
The Role
We’re searching for a talented Multimedia Producer to join our team! If you enjoy video editing, graphic design, and are looking for a great place to grow both skillsets, this role is for you! Our internal Brand team is highly creative and energized to bring life to projects they’re working on, and is full of advanced creatives who can help younger creatives grow.Specifically, this role will be expected to churn out creative assets in the form of video and design. Currently, this job is targeted more towards simple execution & production than it is custom creative & strategizing.
It aims to fulfill the foundation of our creative production in creating much of the repetitive, templated, keep-the-lights-on type of work. Aka, this isn’t the most glamorous role, but it is incredibly necessary for its impact on team efficiency and effectiveness, and it is a great entry point into CompanyCam’s Marketing and Brand team.
In this job you will...
- Own a lot of small projects filmed/recorded in our studio (green screen, set pieces, talking head videos, feature classes, webinars).
- Take projects from other producers through the final stage creating multiple modulations, adjusting compositions for various aspect ratios, and rendering different codecs for delivery.
- Grow in hands-on experience working closely with other video producers on bigger productions filling roles on a video team such as directing, camera assisting, audio tech, lighting grip, and occasionally Director of Photography.
- Do simple design work within Illustrator and Photoshop - Updating layouts of existing assets, building new assets from our Brand asset library, and occasionally creating new designs for Marketing collateral.
- Bring a positive attitude and be willing to learn new things from others around them.
- Participate in pre-production planning such as shot setup, communicating with talent/stakeholders, and working with project management.
- Participate in post-production activities such as editing, sound engineering, color grading, and special effects.
- Strategize and help template repetitive work to maximize ROI in contrast to the creative lift an asset may require.
- Scope the effort a video or design task requires in conjunction with our project managers.
- Travel to off-site shoots at least 1x/quarter and be in the office at least 3 days/week.
You must...
- Show up every day, taking the courage to do the difficult but necessary stuff.
- Grow up constantly: you're OK working in an environment full of change. You take responsibility, love ownership, learn continuously, and have a growth mindset.
- Do good by treating your co-workers and customers the way you would like to be treated.
- Have some years in the experience bank—we’re talking about at least 1-3 years, including school/intern experience. If you have less experience but have great knowledge and work to show - we are interested in hearing from you, too!
- Have a knack for collaboration. Playing well with others is key, and experience working cross-departmentally is a must.
- Have some experience with Davinci Resolve and Adobe Suite Software (Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, Media Encoder).
- Be able to travel to off-site shoots, which usually happen 1x/quarter.
- Reside permanently and currently in Lincoln, NE or the surrounding metro area and be in our HQ office at least 3 days/week.
It'd be nice if you...
- Have SaaS experience—double bonus.
- Hold construction and contracting industry knowledge—triple bonus.
- Are familiar with any and all of our most-used tools (Slack, Zoom, G-Suite, Click-Up, and Marketo).
