About us
Common Room is the customer intelligence platform that captures every buying signal, giving companies superpowers with AI enrichment and automation to reach the right person with the right context at the right time. Despite an explosion of buyer signals, companies are left struggling with siloed point solution vendors, bloated tech stacks, and unactionable "intent" data. Common Room brings together all the buying signals you care about in one place so you can track the entire customer journey, match signals to real people and accounts, take action and automate. We’ve raised over $50 million from top-tier investors including Greylock, Index, and Madrona to build the world's first customer intelligence platform for modern B2B companies.
And we’re backed by 25+ operators from the fastest-growing companies in the world such as Figma, Stripe, Airtable, Slack, Notion, Loom, and more. You + Common Room? You’d be joining a team that revels in asking hard questions, collaborating gladly, and making decisions quickly—a team that values simplicity, passion, trust, each other, and our customers above all.So hello! Please, knock on our door. We'd love to meet you. There’s not a blueprint for this role. We’re looking for a Swiss Army Knife type of marketer. What does that mean? It means you think from first principles.
It means you love building systems and making them run smoothly. And it means you use process as a way to speed things up, not slow them down.
Responsibilities (for now)
You’ll start by taking over the programs that are working well right now. From there, you’ll own, optimize, and scale the programs to help us grow.
Programs you’ll own and optimize
- Creator program: Not only will you take over our creator program but help scale it. We’ve proven that it works and now it’s time to scale with customer advocates, up-and-coming creators, and implementation partners.
- Events: You’ll run our event programs—everything from webinars to meetups to dinners to conference participation—and deliver measurable outcomes for each.
- Community: We have an owned community (Uncommon), but our community consists of more than that. It spans channels like LinkedIn, Reddit, YouTube, other Slack communities (anywhere where conversations of the future of GTM are happening). We’ll need you to plug into these channels, cultivate engagement, and grow awareness of Common Room.
You’re a good fit if:
- Experience in GTM tech — We can’t afford the time needed ramp someone who doesn’t have a background and clear point of view on the evolving GTM tech landscape. You’ll need to work closely with our product and marketing lead to grok Common Room as a product, understand our positioning, evolve it, and make an immediate impact.
- Ownership — There’s a lot of moving parts to this role and we ship fast. You’ll need to own driving deliverables with deadlines. That means being extremely organized and providing maximum visibility and accountability to projects in motion.
- Systems for speed — You’ll need to strike the right balance of context to empower others without the hurdles to inhibit them. A successful program gives others the ability to work autonomously without a single point of failure.
- Comfortable with feedback — We are direct and fast with feedback. If you are easily offended or have trouble with constructive feedback, you need not apply.
This position offers a competitive compensation range of $100,000 to $170,000 OTE, accounting for experience, qualifications, location, and includes equity ownership.
