Pivot Path Solutions is currently seeking a highly skilled Workday HRIS Consultant with a strong focus on stakeholder engagement and requirements gathering to join our team to support a federal agency. The Workday HRIS Consultant will play a critical role in the successful optimization of Workday HRIS solutions by engaging with stakeholders to understand their business needs and translating those into effective Workday configurations.
This role requires a deep understanding of Workday products, strong analytical skills, and exceptional communication abilities to ensure that solutions align with client objectives. This is a remote position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with key stakeholders, including HR, IT, and business leaders, to gather detailed requirements and understand their strategic goals and challenges.
- Conduct in-depth interviews and workshops with stakeholders to identify current HR processes, pain points, and desired outcomes.
- Analyze and document business requirements, workflows, and system needs, ensuring clarity and alignment with Workday capabilities.
- Leverage extensive knowledge of Workday modules (HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, Talent Management, etc.) to design solutions that meet stakeholder requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and present Workday configuration options, providing expert advice on best practices and system optimization.
- Customize and configure Workday solutions based on gathered requirements, ensuring they meet client specifications and provide a seamless user experience.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating technical concepts into business-friendly language.
- Lead requirements validation sessions with stakeholders, ensuring that all needs are accurately captured and addressed in the system design.
- Provide input on testing strategies, helping to ensure that configurations meet business needs and perform as expected.
- Deliver ongoing support and training to stakeholders post-implementation, ensuring they are fully equipped to utilize the Workday system effectively.
- Stay current with Workday updates and enhancements, advising stakeholders on potential impacts and opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience as a Workday Consultant, with a strong focus on stakeholder engagement and requirements gathering.
- Extensive knowledge of Workday modules, including HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, and Talent Management.
- Proven experience in interviewing stakeholders and translating business requirements into effective Workday solutions.
- Strong understanding of HR processes and how they can be optimized through technology.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to facilitate discussions, present solutions, and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a detail-oriented approach to analyzing and documenting requirements.
- Experience with Workday configuration and customization, with a deep understanding of system capabilities and limitations.
- Workday certification(s) in one or more modules is highly desirable.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
