Who You Are:
You are a cosmetic industry leader who is exhilarated by the opportunity to build the Supergoop! brand and service approximately 80 doors to support our retail partners such as Sephora and Ulta witihin the Brooklyn, Queens, and Long Island area market. In this role you will use your strong social media and broadcast selling skills to drive retail through in person support, selling and coordinating successful events, and expanding brand awareness. You will report directly to the Regional Market Manager.
Responsibilities:
- You will lead by example by displaying the Supergoop! Core values.
- In partnership with your leader you will develop territory strategy to reach retailer sales targets and provide growth YOY, assuring focus on elevating the brand awareness to reach maximum ROI.
- Prepare weekly business insights and in-store activity recaps to the Sales and Education Manager that include business/product performance, market and competitive insight, etc.
- You will be adaptable and agile in your approach to the different retailers you work with by understanding their specific company culture.
- You will identify and work to resolve inventory, staffing, branding, or merchandising needs at the market level.
- You will ensure that each store is trained frequently and reinforce that training with follow up selling techniques, demonstrations, and product information
- You will develop and maintain an organized system that ensures appropriate levels of testers, gratis, sampling & training materials
- You will identify and report market information with leadership to ensure market growth
- You will execute Supergoop! marketing initiatives
- You will maintain Supergoop! image and highest possible standards by adhering to merchandising guidelines
- With the support of the Manager, create schedules for freelance Sun Specialists that will support current business strategy and needs. Monitor and approve payroll to ensure that budgets are fully utilized to deliver the best ROI.
- Take part in all major event set-up and execution, leading your Sun Specialists and setting the standard in delivering best in class education and sales.
- Build and maintain strong strategic partnerships with key leadership within our retail partner resulting in increased understanding of the business and achievement of successful sales results.
Qualifications/Experience:
- 1-2 years prior experience as a Market Coordinator or in the Beauty Sales & Education sphere
- This role is a client-facing position, expected to be in store 5 days a week, Tuesday-Saturday. Schedules to be determined by the needs of individual locations to ensure the highest ROI. Need for office days will be granted on an as needed basis.
- As we are a seasonal brand, there is a blackout period starting in Spring through Summer, with some flexibility to request time off. Dates vary every year and are determined by the Leadership team.
- Experience with, and understanding of our merchandiser’s business (Sephora, Ulta, etc) is essential
- You have a passion for selling and exceeding goals and expectations and have demonstrated an ability to drive sales through fostering relationships and providing exceptional brand partnership
- Demonstration of creative and active problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced, often-changing environment
- High-level attention to detail and accuracy in execution of work and tasks
- Proficient computer knowledge of Windows, Word, Excel, Google and PowerPoint
- Willingness to work out of home office on occasion
- Willing and able to travel overnight
- Fluency in social media and virtual programs
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50lbs

Salary Range: $60,000 - $65,000 commensurate with experience
