Job Summary
We are seeking a full-time, Financial Analyst to support a federal government client in carrying out invoice processing and other financial management support. This is a remote position.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Respond to stakeholders on invoicing issues with 24 hours.
- Document and report the number of invoices processed.
- Perform basic data mining, provide reports and assist with records management.
- Ensure invoices received are properly received, verified, and processed.
- Review invoices and travel receipts for accuracy and completeness in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
- Extract, review and analyze numerical information such as monthly expense statements and other reports.
- Able to determine all tasks are properly processed and that total activity agrees with pre-determined controls.
Qualifications and Skills
- High School Diploma or GED.
- At least 2 years of accounting, business management or budget experience.
- Strong work ethic: punctual, reliable, and supports team goals.
- Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills.
- Ability to shift between projects while awaiting inputs from other projects.
