About the role:
Bynder is seeking an in-person Office manager Intern (32-40h a week) to take our Amsterdam workplace to the next level. As our Office Intern you will directly shape and impact the Amsterdam employee experience. You love to organize and manage projects such as internal events, social programs and contact with suppliers. You can juggle multiple priorities at once and are a real multi-tasker. You are famous for your positive attitude, hands-on approach and efficient working methods and make sure everything at the office runs smoothly.

You will provide support for an office/remote team of +/-190 colleagues.
What you will do:
- You will have an important role in making Byndies feel welcome in our office.
- First point of contact for colleagues, suppliers, events.
- Greet visitors, offer refreshments, and alert appropriate parties of visitor's arrival.
- Forward voicemail messages.
- Maintain and update office operations and procedures, improving workflow where appropriate.
- Maintain office handbook and office management shared drive.
- Financial administration of all purchases made.
- Keeps the invoice archive updated.
- Take care of incoming and outgoing mail, shipping and receiving courier bookings.
- Order, organize and maintain inventory of office supplies, customer gifts, and company swag.
- Providing and preparing lunch, help with the lunch set up and clean up.
- Conceptualize and coordinate events and activities to promote team building and to drive the Bynder culture across a hybrid workforce, both in-office and off-site. events.(After work drinks, breakfasts, dinners, summer party, gala, volunteer events).
- Keep the office nice and tidy, light maintenance tasks aligned with this.
- Slack engagement for culture building.
- Assist with scheduling meetings.
- Assist with new hire onboarding; set-up welcome email and package, facilitate ongoing communication regarding necessary supplies, training, etc. prior to the new hire’s start date and guidance during the first few weeks.
- You will report to the Facility manager EMEA located in the Netherlands.
- You will be working closely together with our Facility manager EMEA and team of global office managers.
- You will learn a lot about all the aspects of Office Management.
What you have:
- 6 months availability from the beginning of August/September.
- You are a motivated, proactive, independent, and organized self-starter.
- You are tech-savvy, know your way around a computer, and are well skilled with Google Workspace.
- You are able to prioritize multiple conflicting tasks simultaneously.
- You get things done.
- You find it easy to build good working relationships both remotely and in person.
- You are a team player with the drive to work autonomously.
- Professional with the ability to exercise good judgment, discretion and confidentiality.A study in (office) management, personal assistant/secretary roles, events/hospitality, project management.
- You possess excellent written and oral communication skills in Dutch and English.
- You have an outgoing and friendly personality and you love to work with an international team of office managers as part of a global team.
Nice to haves:
- Experience with Macbook.
- You speak/write Dutch.
- Experience in an international working environment with different cultures.
- Previous office management experience.
