We’re looking for a driven senior recruiter to partner our hiring teams, taking on a wide variety of skillsets. This is a fast paced individual contributor role where success is dependent on working collaboratively, being solutions oriented, and maintaining a sense of urgency to hit our goals as a team. 

Key Responsibilities:



  • Reporting to the Director of Talent Acquisition you will execute on Axion’s hiring plan.

  • Partner with hiring managers to fill assigned requirements in a timely manner without compromising on our high bar for talent. 

  • Proactively source top active and passive talent. Leverage existing and new sourcing channels, continuously optimizing for more talent-dense candidate pools.

  • Own top of funnel diversity metrics, and monitor pass-through rates to assess progress on diversity goals.

  • Own and manage a consistent, fair, and effective hiring process by understanding the business, taking initiative and pushing back constructively where appropriate. 

  • Leverage data to draw insights that drive refinement and optimization of sourcing strategy and hiring process

  • Guide and develop interviewers and hiring managers on assessment skills and decision making. Serve as first thought partner on difficult hiring decisions. 

Qualifications:



  • 4-6 years of agency and in-house recruiting experience (some combination preferred).

  • A capacity for understanding and acting on complex and technical requirements.

  • A track record of success in both technical recruiting and business recruiting.

  • Business sense - ability to understand the market, our business, and how your work and goals connect to the bottom line near and short term. 

  • An entrepreneurial mindset. As a problem solver, always seeking solutions, building relationships and leveraging resources efficiently.

  • Experience with an in-house ATS (Ashby or Greenhouse preferred)

Axion Ray is based in New York, New York with a headquarters in Williamsburg and the team works in a hybrid capacity. This role is expected to work in office at least 3 days weekly.
