Cash compensation range: $221 - 249K USD annually + equity 


About the Role:


We’re looking for an experienced product leader to help us grow our FinTech and Portable Benefits products. This leader will partner with cross-functional peers in design, engineering, sales, marketing, partnerships, and other product teams to drive activation of our holistic portable benefits solution. We’re looking for someone who’s passionate about solving the financial security needs of independent workers, delivering great consumer product experiences, and collaborating to solve hard problems.

Responsibilities:


  • Drive the growth engines for our business and expand our fintech tools designed specifically for independent workers
  • Develop a deep understanding of our customers’ needs to drive growth and engagement of our mobile application and other financial management tools while building new launchpads for growth across our product ecosystem
  • Partner with the CPTO to set organizational goals and translate those goals to a rolling product roadmap
  • Flushing out core business requirements in discovery sessions with stakeholders of various backgrounds and technical proficiency
  • Own the product strategy and sprint priorities for your team while partnering with Design and Engineering to execute against your objectives
  • Partner closely with Technical Managers to engage, build relationships, and deliver value for stakeholders, customers, and strategic partners
  • Partner with other product teams to drive activation of Stride’s portable benefits
  • Proven ability to align with leadership and peers on requirements, customer value, and trade offs of tactical vs strategic solutions and flex product features appropriately
  • Translate underlying trends in the future of work and self-employed individuals around the globe into financial security product needs today and for the next 5 years
  • Work with external insurance, financial services, and other strategic partners to bring new products to market, analyze performance, and improve the design of those products
  • Participate in coaching and developing our Product Management team helping us grow and advance our skillsets

Qualifications:


  • 10+ years of consumer and enterprise software Product Management experience (including web and mobile)
  • Proven ability to create and maintain product roadmaps and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Proven ability to drive product-led growth in consumer facing products
  • Proven ability to manage the entire process of conceptualizing and delivering new products while refining existing ones 
  • Strong analytical mindset and demonstrated experience managing a pipeline of experiments and optimizations through data-informed metrics and analytics
  • Exceptional communication skills with a knack for decomposing problems and driving clarity across multiple stakeholders
  • Entrepreneurial drive, a strong desire for ownership, and passion for building amazing product experiences

  • Experience building consulting/gig economy services or applications
  • Experience optimizing onboarding and activation experiences
  • Experience with products that have heavy operational/business processes behind the scene
  • Experience in public and/or digital health, insuretech, insurance brokerage
  • Managerial experience
