We’re seeking a Sales Engineer to lead scoping sessions with and deliver customized technical demonstrations of Axion’s AI platform for enterprise customers. You will engage with executives, managers, and users to showcase how Axion’s platform drives value, ensuring the success of our sales efforts. You will collaborate with data science, engineering, and product teams, bringing the best resources to each deployment. Supported by senior leaders and technical colleagues, you will be a key player in our cross-functional team.
Responsibilities:
Lead technical overviews of Axion’s AI solutions during prospective customer calls.
Serve as the primary technical contact, architecting and leading product demos for prospective clients.
Partner closely with Account Executives on deal strategy and tactics.
Act as the product expert within the sales team, understanding all features and functions.
Communicate with prospective customers to understand their pain points and communicate Axion’s value proposition
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to address product and technical questions, resolve technical bugs, and translate customer feedback into business and product requirements.
Create and maintain technical documentation, including user guides.
Understand customer ROI levers and build business cases
Collaborate with sales and product development teams to identify and implement product improvements and new features based on customer feedback.
Requirements:
2-4+ years as a client-facing sales engineer, consultant, or solutions engineer.
Proven ability to lead and execute high-stakes projects with minimal supervision.
Ability to distill complex customer pain points and product capabilities into compelling value-demonstration stories.
Experience configuring product demo environments and delivering compelling sales pitches.
Participation in product development through collaboration with sales, product, and leadership teams.
Strong problem-solving, creativity, and technical skills to help organizations leverage their data.
Experience with collaborating with product teams on customer requirements for roadmap development
Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with evolving priorities.
