About the Role

Our team looks for data-driven and fact-based mindsets, engaging and collaborative behaviors, and personal growth-focused professionals.   Plus Power is looking to hire a Real Estate Manager, Land Operations to support development efforts across the Company’s portfolio of energy storage projects. The Real Estate Manager will report to the Senior Manager of Real Estate – Land Acquisition and Management but will collaborate across the Development and Real Estate Teams primarily tracking real estate agreement obligations, including overseeing financial real estate obligations, the management of ancillary real estate documents, and department related document control processes.

Key Responsibilities


  • Provide comprehensive support of the real estate department and our portfolio of energy storage projects. The primary focus of this responsibility will be to oversee all real estate needs related to tracking real estate agreement obligations, including financial obligations such as option payments or property taxes as well as document management.
  • Assist Real Estate Managers leading land acquisition efforts and other departments requiring access to sites with landowner coordination related to site visits and due diligence studies.
  • Assist with securing ancillary landowner and title documents in support of site control and title curative efforts.
  • Oversee project folders and document management databases.
  • Assist in budgeting processes.
  • Deliver regular real estate reports related to budgeting, upcoming project and/or agreement milestones, and other portfolio management reporting.

Skills & Qualifications


  • 4-year university degree, BS or BA or equivalent, relevant professional experience
  • 4-8+ years’ experience in real estate land administration in the renewable energy, oil & gas or utility industries
  • Extensive experience in organizing and overseeing internal data management resources and software
  • Ability to understand legal and commercial obligations within real estate documents
  • Creative independent thinker with a demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a diverse team
  • Proactive mindset to identify obstacles ahead of time and provide and implement solutions
  • Proven ability to succeed in demanding and flexible environments
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage a large portfolio of project documents and obligations
  • Strong attention to detail, professionalism and organizational skills
  • Understanding of energy storage and / or renewable energy development preferred

Compensation and Benefits


Highly competitive remuneration from one of North America’s leading energy storage developers, owners and operators. Flexible, work from home acceptable for the long-term, or hybrid work from Plus Power’s offices in San Francisco or Houston. The salary range* for this position begins at $120,000. Factors that may be used to determine the final compensation include relevant experience, skills, qualifications, geographic labor market, and other factors consistent with applicable law.
