Our innovative and fast-growing startup is looking for a Fullstack Engineer to help deliver on our robust data and technology agenda.
Quanta Credit Services is a startup focused on providing digital-first collections solutions for lenders, banks, and fintechs. Simply put, we work with our clients to build email and text collections campaigns, resulting in better experiences for collections customers and better business outcomes for lenders.We are looking for the right experienced talent who wants to help build from the ground up as we advance on our journey. This individual will be hands on helping to refine our technology strategy and roadmap, deliver key components such as building data pipelines and providing other data and tech support as needed to support our evolving business product offerings.
While this is a remote role, preferably we are looking for this candidate to reside in Richmond, Virginia or Charlotte, North Carolina. This role is open for candidates residing in the following states: Georgia, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.

The Fullstack Engineer will be a core contributor to our highly-collaborative team and thus requires a strong ability (and desire) to interact professionally both within a team and with our clients when needed.
Role Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, validate, deploy and maintain solutions using Amazon Web Services (AWS) that meet critical business needs
- Daily monitoring of UI and API health across the platform
- Ensure the scalability of the UI and API on both infrastructure and code sides
- Build out new web-based and backend features with an eye for snappy interfaces (client and internal)
- Make use of appropriate web application frameworks to deliver a good user experience (SPAs, SSR apps, statically generated apps, etc)
- Build solutions that interface with a variety of services
- Implement experimental features and leverage A/B testing
- Partner closely with stakeholders to understand tech requirements and create consensus on approach and outcomes
- Modify and improve engineering processes to handle evolving business goals
- Overall ownership of the “platform” and support essential platform capabilities
- Play an essential role in troubleshooting system problems and provide viable solution options
- Take ownership of complete life cycle and design, develop, and enhance models
- Contribute expertise on technology options, risk, and operational impact to help drive overall technology strategy and roadmap
- Conform to best practices in information security
- Fully document all solution work including designs and configurations
- Provide guidance and mentor others
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
- 3+ years of experience in:
- AWS
- Javascript
- NodeJS
- Typescript
- Python or Java optional
- Experience using CSS frameworks, Tailwind preferred but other frameworks are fine
- Experience using frontend frameworks, React preferred but Vue and Angular are fine
- Experience using web application frameworks like Next.js and Nuxt.js
- Experience building dashboards on top of a business intelligence tool, Tableau or PowerBI preferred
- Experience either building CRMs or building integrations for CRMs is a plus
- Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Proven ability to communicate technical information to audiences with varying levels of technical acumen
