As our community of players continues to grow, we’re committed to building diverse and inclusive environments across our teams, and in our games.As an Associate Story Ops Manager on Episode, you will work with our creators and team to develop best in class mobile storytelling processes and foster a community of learning within our Commissions Creator Program.
What You’ll Do:
- Implement and validate effective educational materials that improve story performance for both beginner and experienced writers
- Process content weekly for testing, publishing, and performance analysis
- Conduct story development workshops, courses, and office hours designed for a high-volume pipeline of story creators
- Maintain & improve processes for a healthy growing creator pipeline
- Serve as a friendly, informative, and welcoming point of contact for all creators in our pipeline
- Stay up to date and share learnings on current trends & best practices
What You Bring to the Story Team:
- You have excellent teaching & development skills, especially at a one-to-many scale.
- You know how to empower others to be their best critics and independently grow.
- You show excellent judgment in identifying and assessing a writer’s potential.
- You love using data to inform your and others’ creative work.
- You love and understand our (predominantly female) mobile audience.
- You’re adaptable & nimble, reacting quickly to changes in a small dynamic team.
- You’re passionate about clear documentation, effective processes, and iterating toward success.
- You’ve got 3+ years of experience in top performing free to play mobile storytelling games.

**This position is approved to work remotely in the following states: California, Colorado, Washington, Texas, New York, and Massachusetts**The range provided below is Pocket Gems’ reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as location, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities. In addition, this position is eligible for annual performance bonuses and equity.Pocket Gems also has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position is eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) with Matching, Paid Time Off, Life Insurance, and Wellness Programs.Please note that this information is only provided publicly for candidates in California, Washington, Colorado, and New York, but the role is open to candidates in Texas and Massachusetts as well.
