About the role:
- Managing a critical Hearsay product domain in the Hearsay communication platform, working with senior management to help create product strategies and roadmaps.
- Creating product requirements and managing these requirements from the roadmap through implementation and product launch, ensuring that the products are developed and launched as designed and on schedule.
- Ensuring that the Hearsay product team is aligned on product value, vision, strategy, requirements, priorities, and success criteria, fully integrated with an overarching vision of omnichannel engagement that drives defined business outcomes for our customers.
- Partnering with Go To Market, Operations, Legal, and Finance teams to drive cross-functional outcomes.
- Partnering closely with our engineering, design, professional services and go to market teams in Budapest (and around the World) to understand business and customer requirements and secure adoption of the features.
- Collaboratively working with Engineering and UX Design as defined in Hearsay EPD (Engineering, Product, Design) procedures and best practices.
- Working closely with customers, customer support, professional services, sales, and prospects to deliver features that are both tuned to drive customer business value and measurable.
- Collaborate with our head of Strategic Alliances to establish and maintaining various technical partnerships, working closely with technical contacts on product and integration strategies.
- Understanding current and future market opportunities, prioritize and manage the product roadmap, working with design, engineering, professional services, other product teams and marketing to deliver the right features now and over the long haul.
- Serving as the subject matter expert for the assigned product domain, the markets we prioritize, our competitive landscape and unique value proposition.
- Owning the product metrics for your product, and working with the Data team to develop and monitor these key metrics to determine product health, usage and impact on our end users.
About you:
- Product lifecycle management expertise, including the AGILE framework
- Understanding UX and capability of working together with designers
- Online/software products launch expertise
- Experience working with common product management & collaboration tools (Jira, Slack, Miro, etc.), and experience with Agile framework (SCRUM)
- Ability to establish a working knowledge of CRM systems, common usage patterns, integration scenarios and key requirements for ecosystem partners such as Hearsay.
- Capability of learning while doing (both in case of success and failure)
- Understanding the importance of delighting the user and helping deliver tangible and measurable RoI to the buyer
- Comfort and familiarity with technical terminologies and working with engineering teams
- Capability of interfacing with Go-To-Market teams and getting to the crux of the business problems to be solved
- Delivers compelling presentations, communicates clearly, sets effective agendas, and leads cross functional meetings.
- Demonstrates ability to synthesize and rationalize inputs from multiple sources, developing an assertive and defensible view
- Can strategically "say no" to stakeholders, both internal and external, while still gaining buy-in
- Can work with people with diverse backgrounds, approaches, and ways of thinking
- Can work collaboratively with Design, Engineering and Professional Services
- Understands website content management (WCM) applications and frameworks, the market and vendor landscape and understand search engine optimization best practices
- Able to navigate both internally and externally in critical customer situations representing product management in internal and the company in external discussions
- Comfortable working with multiple teams with global locations and time zones including teams in West Coast US
- Strategic thinking and strong communication skills
